HAMILTON, ON - The Otters headed to Hamilton this afternoon for a 4PM matchup against the Bulldogs. In the First, Alex Gritz opened the scoring for Erie with his sixth of the year, but Hamilton answer moments later with a goal of their own, coming from Isaac Nurse. In the second, Hamilton would begin the frame with three unanswered goals in the first five minutes, coming from Dj King, Cameron Supryka, and Arthur Kaliyev. Erie would find their scoring touch once again with a goal from Brendan Hoffmann to cut the Hamilton lead to one goal heading into the final period.

Erie replicated Hamilton's start to the second with three goals of their own to open the final period, from Gera Poddubnyi, Brendan Hoffmann, and Emmett Sproule. Arthur Kaliyev answered with a tally to make the score 6-5, but Danial Singer would answer immediately for Erie to restore their two goal lead. Matthew Strome found the back of the net with 39 seconds remaining, but it would prove to be too little, too late and the Otters took this one 8-7 in Hamilton
