
Otters Reduce Camp Roster to 40

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League announced today that they have reduced their Training Camp roster to 40 players following today's sessions.
Re-assigned to their home teams today were 2010 OHL Priority Selections Liam Maaskant (eighth round, 151st overall), Hunter Johnson (10th round, 191st), Eric Kimmerly (11th round, 211th), Brent Hambly (14th round, 271st) and Liam Walker (15th round, 285th) as well as 2009 draft picks Mikhel Poldma (5th round, 90th overall) and Matt Halloran (14th round, 270th) and invites Hunter Conboy, Tyler Mayea, Jack Pirie and Billy Wager.
A total of 40 players remain in camp attempting to secure a spot on the Otters 2010-11 roster.
The Otters 2010 Training Camp continues tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday at the Tullio Arena with practice sessions in the morning followed by a scrimmage in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m. each day. All on-ice sessions at the Tullio Arena are open to the public free of charge.

The Otters return to Tullio Arena for an exhibition contest Saturday, September 4 at 5:00 p.m. against the Niagara IceDogs. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, the Erie Civic Center Box Office, online at ottershockey.com or call 814-452-4857.
