
Otters double 'Dogs

Erie Otters News Release
Zack Torquato scored his first two goals of the season to lead the Erie Otters to a 4-2 win over the Niagara IceDogs in an Ontario Hockey League game played tonight in front of 1,806 at the Tullio Arena.
Justin Hodgman and Brandon Biggers netted the other goals for the Otters, who ended a five-game winless streak with the victory. Erie is now 3-6-1-0 on the season.
Andrew Agozzino accounted for both of the IceDogs goals. Niagara dropped to 3-4-1-3 with the loss.
The Otters led 2-1 after one. The two teams were tied at two heading into the third. The Otters out shot the IceDogs 43-29 in the game as Jaroslav Janus posted the victory.
The three stars of the game were all from the Otters. Biggers (game winning goal) was the first, Ryan O'Reilly (one assist) the second and Torquato the third.
The Otters head out on to the road for their next three games beginning with weekend action Friday in Guelph and Saturday in Owen Sound. Both games can be heard live on FOX Sports Radio AM 1330 The FAN and on-line at www.ottershockey.com (presented by the James H. Cross Company) beginning with the pre-game show at 7:15 p.m.
The next Otters home games take place Friday, October 24th against the Saginaw Spirit and Saturday, October 25th against the Kitchener Rangers. The game against the Spirit is presented by Taco Bell and the Otters will wear special pink jerseys for Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by Arlington Lawn Care in the game against the Rangers.
