PLYMOUTH, MI - Chris Terry scored twice to lead the Plymouth Whalers to a 8-1 win over the Erie Otters in an Ontario Hockey League game played tonight at the Compuware Sports Arena.

Joe Gaynor, Andrew Fournier, Tyler J. Brown, Vern Cooper, Taylor Carnevale and RJ Mahalak also scored for the Whalers in the win. Ryan Hayes and Michal Jordan each collected three assists as the Whalers improved to 23-14-2-2.

Justin Hodgman netted the lone Erie goal as the Otters dropped to 9-30-2-1 with their third straight loss.

The Whalers led 3-0 after one and 5-1 heading into the third.

The Otters out shot the Whalers 43-39 in the game as Shane Owen took the loss.

The three stars of the game were all from the Whalers. Goaltender Matt Hackett was the first, Hayes the second and Jordan the third.

The Otters return for home games Friday and Saturday at the Tullio Arena. Friday it's the Otters and the Windsor Spitfires presented by Arlington Lawn Care. The first 2,000 fans into the game receive a free ice scrapper. It's also JetRadio 1400 Coats for Kid's Night.
