Ottawa reassigns right win Jim McKenzie to Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators reassigned today right wing Jim McKenzie from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL to the Binghamton Senators.

McKenzie, 23, has six goals, five assists and 26 penalty minutes in 29 games with the Jackals this season. In eight games with the B-Sens earlier this season, McKenzie registered no points and 13 penalty minutes.

McKenzie was Ottawa's fifth-round pick, 141st overall, in the 2004 NHL entry draft.

The B-Sens return to the ice on Friday, Feb. 1 when they host the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05 p.m. at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Good tickets remain for this divisional contest.
