Ottawa BlackJacks News Release
The Ottawa BlackJacks Basketball Club of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Wednesday an extensive partnership with Lady Dive Tours who will become the official ground transportation partner of Ottawa's professional basketball team. Additionally, Lady Dive Tours will provide the CEBL with transportation services within the nation's capital during the 2022 CEBL Championship Weekend.
On May 4, the CEBL and Ottawa BlackJacks launched a season-long national campaign entitled the Road to the Chip, in celebration of 2022 CEBL Championship Weekend being hosted in Ottawa. From August 12-14, the penultimate basketball party will take place in Ottawa, featuring a series of musical acts, artists, and community events supporting the semifinals and championship game of Canada's pro basketball league.
Lady Dive Tours will play a major role with the Road to the Chip, as official ground transportation provider, helping the BlackJacks travel to road games in Hamilton, Guelph, Montreal, Niagara and Scarborough, as well as proving trips to practices at Collège La Cité, and games at the Arena at TD Place.
With more than a dozen tourist vehicles in circulation, Lady Dive Tours has carved a name for itself in Ottawa as a trusted and fun way to see the Cicy. Bus and boat sightseeing tours of Ottawa and Gatineau can be reserved for trips on a double-decker bus or even the province's only amphibus on the Ottawa River.
Earlier today, the BlackJacks were presented with their official team bus, provided by Lady Dive Tours, and designed by CEBL Senior Design Specialist Nick Ripmeester, in consultation with KB Media. Founded in 2009, KB Media is a cutting-edge marketing, communications, design, and manufacturing company. The team at KB Media not only helped design the BlackJacks bus, they also provided the production and application of the branding, creating the first transportation vessel of its kind in the CEBL
Quotes:
"The team at Lady Dive Tours will be a great fit with the CEBL and Ottawa BlackJacks brands. The excitement they bring thousands of Ottawa tourists and residents each day matches the feeling that fans of our sport will experience every time they come to the Arena at TD Place. The BlackJacks want to partner with organizations who share a vision for our nation's capital. This is a perfect match. The reaction from players and coaches when they saw their own bus was very special. I want to sincerely thank the team at KB Media for their work to make this vision a reality."
Michael Cvitkovic, President, Ottawa BlackJacks
