
Ottawa Assigns Dahlman to B-Sens

BINGHAMTON, NY â The Binghamton Senators announced today that have received RW Toni Dahlman on assignment from the Ottawa Senators (NHL).
Dahlman, 23, was Ottawa's 9 th round pick (286 th overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He played in the Senators' season opener against New Jersey (October 10) and recorded one shot on goal and an even rating in 5:09 of ice-time. He did not get in the line -up against the Toronto Maple Leafs (October 12) or the Phoenix Coyotes (October 15).
Dahlman will see his first action with Binghamton this weekend when the Senators travel to Rochester (October 19) and Syracuse (October 20). Last season, Dahlman appeared in 50 games with the Senators' AHL affiliate in Grand Rapids, recording 14 points (6-8) and 25 penalty minutes.
