MISSOULA, MONT - The Missoula Osprey (13-11) notched a 7-6 walk-off win in the bottom of the tenth vs. the Great Falls Voyagers (13-11) Sunday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. The Osprey are now tied for first in the North with Great Falls and Helena.

Great Falls started the scoring in the top of the third when the Voyagers plated three runs. Logan Sowers and Adam McGinnis led off the inning with consecutive singles against Osprey starter Marcos Tineo. Ryan Fitzpatrick walked to load the bases. After an error and a run that scored on a double play ball, Jay Estes lined a single to center to give Great Falls a 3-0 lead. However, Missoula evened the game in the bottom of the frame.

Alex King recorded a leadoff single while Jesus Munoz followed him with a walk. David Sanchez unloaded for a two-RBI triple, and the final run of the inning scored on a passed ball to tie the game.

The next four innings were scoreless as Tineo worked through six innings and did not allowed another run. Great Falls tagged on two runs in the seventh off reliever Jacob Stevens to take a 5-3 lead, and plated another run in the eight to push the advantage to 6-3. Missoula quickly erased the deficit by two in the bottom of the inning

Brandon Leyton and Buddy Kennedy drove back-to-back singles to pave the way for Zac Almond, who doubled in a run. Zack Shannon grounded out to score the second run of the inning to make it a 6-5 game. The Osprey went back to work offensively in the ninth, as Cesar Garcia earned a two-out walk. Leyton singled to score Garcia and tie the game 6-6.

Justin Garcia pitched a perfect ninth for the Osprey, and went out for the tenth inning. With the mandatory runner at second base, Garcia forced Ramon Beltre into a bunt to Shannon at first, who threw to third and retired the Estes for the first out of the inning. Garcia (2-0) then struck out the next two batters to pave the way for the walk-off.

With Kennedy at third for the Osprey, Almond bunted toward the pitcher Vince Arobio (1-2), and the throw to first went by the bag into right field, scoring Kennedy to give the Osprey a 7-6 victory.

Leyton finished the game with three hits and an RBI, while Sanchez had two extra base hits for Missoula.

Missoula returns to action Tuesday at Ogden for a 7:00 first pitch at Lindquist Field. The Selway Armory Pregame Show begins at 6:45 p.m. on 102.9 ESPN Missoula and the MiLB First Pitch App.
