MISSOULA, MONT. - Rudy Flores, Alex Glenn and Jake Lamb homered during a five-run sixth inning that lifted the Missoula Osprey to a 9-8 win over the Idaho Falls Chukars, snapping a four-game losing streak on Saturday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field in front of 1,790 fans.

The three home runs were the first for the Osprey (12-8, 30-28) on the current leg of the homestand, and the Osprey had hit just one home run at home against South Division teams before the Peanut Inning power outburst.

Idaho Falls (11-9, 28-30) jumped out to 3-0 and 5-1 leads before Missoula scored twice in the fourth and added the five-spot in the sixth for an 8-5 lead. The Chukars responded with a two-run top of the seventh, but the Osprey would answer with an insurance run in the home half of the inning for a 9-7 edge.

The Osprey bullpen picked up for starter Karl Triana, who allowed five runs on just four hits and a walk in his five innings of work. Chase Stevens (3-2) came on in the sixth and loaded the bases with a walk and a pair of hit batsmen. After inducing a flyout to shallow right field, Stevens got Jerico Blanco to fly out to right fielder Socrates Brito, who made a strong throw to home plate in time to get the tagging Nick Cuckovich out trying to score to end the inning.

The Osprey used that momentum to jump-start the offense again in the bottom of the sixth. Flores hit his first professional home run to left-center and, one out later, Glenn sent one over the right-field wall off of Chukars starter Alec Mills (1-4) to tie the game. With two on, Lamb then touched up reliever Joseph Lopez with a three-run shot to left-center to give the Osprey an 8-5 lead.

After Dexter Price allowed the two runs in the seventh but preserved the lead, Chris Capper pitched the final two innings, and while he did allow a run to score in the top of the ninth, hung in and earned his first professional save to close out the game.

Pedro Ruiz ended with a four-hit night to pace the Osprey 16-hit attack. Flores finished with three hits, Glenn added two hits and three RBIs, Tyler Bream singled and hit a RBI triple, while Yosbel Gutierrez added a pair of hits for the Osprey.

The Osprey and Chukars wrap up their four-game series on Sunday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. The Osprey will send right-hander Yoimer Camacho to the mound, while the Chukars will counter with right-hander Ali Williams.
