
Osprey Return Home Tuesday; Top Draft Picks to Pitch in Homestand

MISSOULA, MONT. - The Missoula Osprey will be back at home this Tuesday, August 12, with the beginning of a seven-game homestand with Arizona's top draft choices scheduled to start for the Osprey.
Cody Reed, a power lefty arm taken in the second round, is scheduled to start on Wednesday against the Ogden Raptors. First pitch is 7:05 p.m. for the Wednesday night matchup. Once again, it's Dollar Dog Night, presented by OneMain Financial and Jack FM.
Touki Toussaint, Arizona's sixteenth overall selection in the draft with an electric fastball, will pitch Thursday against Ogden. Thursday's 7:05 p.m. game is Taco Plate Night, thanks to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana.
Friday's 7:05 p.m. game against the Idaho Falls Chukars, the start of a four-game series, will have an appearance from Arizona Diamondbacks mascot, D. Baxter. D. Baxter will win you over with his crazy antics, good looks, and his infamous "fur" ball. It will be the perfect night for the family to come and enjoy a night as the Osprey are set to battle in a matchup of the last two Pioneer League champions. Friday is also We Win "U" Win Night by Meineke Car Care and "U" 104.5. If the Osprey win at home on Fridays during the regular season, everyone in the ballpark will receive a voucher for a free general admission ticket to a future Sunday-Tuesday regular season home game.
Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game is Win a Diamond Night. Ladies get in line early! One lucky fan is going to win a DIAMOND thank to Riddle's Jewelry! The First 500 Fans will receive a bag upon entry into the stadium; there will be 499 Cubic Zirconias and 1 diamond. After the game, head to Riddle's Jewelry to find out if you were the lucky winner of a Diamond, presented by Riddle's Jewelry & Mountain FM.
It's also Renew Your Wedding Vows Night at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. Join in the celebration, as Osprey fans will renew their wedding vows in a mass pre-game ceremony on the field. It's also Game Show Night where the Osprey promotional staff recreates your favorite game shows. Fans should have their arms ready for Launch-A-Ball following the game. Numbered tennis balls are sold for $1 each. Following the game fans throw their tennis ball(s) on the field toward colored hoops in an attempt to win cash and prizes. Two reserved season tickets are given away during every contest.
Sunday's game against Idaho Falls starts at 5:05 p.m. and again will be fun for all with Float to the Ballpark. Fans are able to pre-purchase a package that will include parking at Ogren Park Allegiance Field, bused, and dropped in the Clark Fork River, where they will float back to the stadium, get out and partake in a pre-game barbecue thanks to Lewis and Clark Trail Adventures & Trail103.3 Sunday is also Faith and Family Night. The night is centered on faith, family, friends, and baseball.

Jiffy Lube and ZOO 107.5 FM team up to bring you Kids' Day on Sunday as well. The game is centered on kids' promotions, music & activit ies. Following the game, all fans can take the same field the pros play on and run the bases and play catch on the field. It's also Senior Sunday, presented thanks to Fire Ready Montana and KGVO 101.5. The Osprey are offering 2-for-1 tickets for all seniors ages 55+ with ID.
Monday's August 18 at 7:05 p.m. is the series finale against Idaho Falls and is Family Night. Fans can get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas, 4 bags of chips, and 1 Super Score Card for $30 with a donation to the Poverello Center, presented by Missoula Family Chiropractic and Cherry Creek Radio. Each Monday is Military Night, where all military members, retired or actively serving will receive $5 reserved tickets with military identification thanks to University Motors.
The opener of the homestand and three-game set with the Ogden Raptors is Tuesday with Bike to the Ballpark, presented by Missoula In Motion, PacificSource Health Plans, and The Trail 103.3.
Fans can get 2 for 1 tickets when you ride your bike to the ballpark. Start time is set for 7:05 p.m.
This also marks the beginning of the Osprey Baseball Camp.
The Missoula Osprey Baseball Camp allows for kids 8 through 14 to come and get 1-on-1 and small group instruction from Missoula Osprey Players and Coaches! The three-day Baseball Camp will start at 9 a.m. and run until noon. Lunch is from noon-1 and each camper gets two tickets to the Osprey game that night.
