ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando Pride (0-2-0, 0 points) closes out a two-game road stint when it visits Reign FC (0-0-1, 1 point) on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma.
The match will be nationally streamed on Yahoo Sports! and in the NWSL app. International fans can tune in on NWSLsoccer.com.
"The Reign are a team with fluidity, consistency and a number of 'game-changers' that we'll need to keep controlled," Orlando Pride Head Coach Marc Skinner said. "This game will cap off a long, difficult opening week that's a great test for us. If we can make them defend and keep on the front foot, I believe we'll see the performance we need for a result."
The Pride face a quick turnaround following a 5-0 defeat at North Carolina on Wednesday. The Courage opened the scoring just before halftime with a goal from Lynn Williams and then went on to score four unanswered after the break to take all three points.
Ashlyn Harris totaled eight saves on the night, now the sole league leader with 14 saves through two games this season.
Sunday's game will also cap off a long opening week for the Pride, closing out a period that had Orlando playing three matches - two on the road - against last season's top three teams over the first eight days of the season.
The Reign enter Sunday's match coming off a 1-1 draw in Houston last week. The Dash opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a goal from Nichelle Prince, but the visitors answered in the 58th thanks to a score from Darian Jenkins. Reign FC had a chance to take all three points from the penalty spot in the final play of the match, but Houston goalkeeper Jane Campbell made the save to keep the two level.
Reign goalkeeper Michele Betos follows Harris in the league standings for saves in 2019, registering seven in her one match this season.
Sunday's match will be the first of three between the two sides this season. The Pride return to Cheney Stadium on September 7 and close out the regular season against the Reign on October 12 at Orlando City Stadium.
