ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando Pride has acquired a natural 2023 NWSL Draft Third Round selection and $15,000 in Allocation Money from Angel City FC in exchange for the rights to defender Ali Riley.

"On behalf of the Club, I want to personally thank Ali for her time, effort, and energy throughout her stay in Orlando," Orlando Pride General Manager Ian Fleming said. "She is a professional in every sense and has been a pleasure to work with. We wish her the absolute best in the future."

Riley, 34, departs the Club after making 23 appearances on the backline across all competitions in 2021. After joining Orlando ahead of the 2020 season, the defender spent that year on loan with Sweden's FC Rosengard due to the Pride's COVID-19 impacted season.
