
Orlando City B Takes the Shootout in Scoreless Stalemate against New England Revolution II

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City B (1-2-2, 7 points) battled to a scoreless draw on Sunday night at Exploria Stadium against New England Revolution II (2-0-2, 9 points), earning the extra point in the shootout for the second time this campaign. The MLS NEXT Pro side took part in the second match of a doubleheader afternoon in downtown Orlando with the contest immediately following that of Major League Soccer side Orlando City SC.
Goalkeeper Javier Otero recorded his second clean sheet of the campaign, posting six saves to keep the Revolution off the board, while defender David Boccuzzo wore the captain's armband for the first time this year. The Lions were reduced to 10 men in the 68th minute of play when Erick Gunera was shown a second yellow card.
Orlando City B Head Coach Martín Perelman:
"A big effort from the players, I'm proud of them. We played against a very good team, but we worked hard. I think we could have won, but that's okay because they did their jobs and we got the two points."

Owen Van Marter made his Orlando City B debut on the night, entering the game for Wilfredo Rivera in the 62nd minute.
OCB was reduced to 10 men after Erick Gunera was shown a second yellow card in the 68th minute.
After making his Orlando City debut a week ago, Neicer Acosta tallied his first start for the Lions on Sunday.
Head Coach Martín Perelman made four changes to his starting lineup from last week's match at Columbus.
