MONTVERDE, Fla. (Aug. 16, 2019) - Orlando City B (3-15-4, 23 points) fell to Lansing Ignite (9-5-9, 36 points) on Friday evening at Montverde Academy by a score of 2-1.

Lansing was able to open the scoring in the 23rd minute following a strong run from midfielder Xavier Gomez, allowing him to score from close range. The Ignite were able to double their lead early in the second half when Rafael Mentzingen was able to convert from a rebound inside of the box on what turned out to be the eventual game winner.

OCB got back in the game in the 72nd minute when forward William Bagrou was able to pounce on the loose ball in the box to score. It is his second goal of the season. However, OCB could not find the equalizer and ultimately fell 2-1.

Next Match: OCB heads out on the road to face FC Tucson on Saturday, August 24 at Kino North Stadium, with kickoff set for 10:30 p.m. ET.
