Orange County SC Match against Hamburger SV to Air on ESPN+ with Mike Watts and Devon Kerr

IRVINE CA - Orange County SC (OCSC) announced today that next week's historic international friendly against Hamburger SV would be broadcast on ESPN+ with USL favorites Mike Watts and Devon Kerr on the call. The Nov. 15 game will kick off at 7:00 p.m. PT on the official streaming partner of the USL Championship and Bundesliga 2. The game will also be broadcast live on KWKW TuLiga Radio 1330 am featuring the Spanish Radio voice of LAFC Armando Aguayo.

Watts and Kerr are very familiar with OCSC having called a number for the club's matches including the 2021 USL Championship Final where OCSC defeated the Tampa Bay Rowdies 3-1.

"Playing a team with the history of Hamburg is an exciting moment for our club.The former European champions taking on our young stars at Championship Soccer Stadium is a real treat for our fans at the end of a tough season" said OCSC President of Business Operations Dan Rutstein. "It's been a pleasure to work with a club of their standing and they will be fitting opponents as we say goodbye to some of our championship winners from last season."

Watts is one of the top soccer play-by-play announcers in North America and has led coverage of Concacaf's most prominent club and national competitions since 2016 including calling the 2021 Concacaf Nations League Final and 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup Final and the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Final. ‚ In addition Watts also works on ESPN's soccer portfolio ‚ Cincinnati Bengals television broadcasts Westwood One's College Football Game of the Week and is a public address announcer at Madison Square Garden.

Kerr currently serves as Lead Analyst for the USL Championship ACC Network & NCAA College Cup and as an analyst for Concacaf events such as FIFA World Cup Qualifying and the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League He played soccer collegiately at Stetson University and competed in Germany's Regionalliga with Hamburg SV and Altona 93.

This is the first international match for OCSC and the first time a USL Championship club has faced an opponent from Germany since 2018. The match kicks off at 7 p.m. and will feature a German Beerfest and a World Cup theme.
