IRVINE, Calif. - Orange County SC has loaned star forward, Thomas Enevoldsen to the 1ST Division Danish Club Hobro IK through Dec. 31, 2020.

The 33-year-old forward, re-joined OCSC for the 2020 season after previously playing with Orange County SC in 2018 where he finished the year as the league's Golden Boot Runner-Up with 20 goals and 10 assists. After traveling to Denmark for the birth of his first child in July, the club and player mutually agreed to find a suitable loan option in his native country.

"We are pleased to announce the loan deal for Thomas to Hobro IK, a top Danish club, where he can combine his talents and be with his young family," said OCSC President of Soccer Operations, Oliver Wyss. "Thomas is a first class professional and arguably the most prolific goal scorer in the USL who is missed on our team in this challenging season. We are looking forward to welcoming Thomas and his family back to Orange County next season after a successful loan spell."

Enevoldsen, who was signed to a multi-year deal in December 2019, played in one game for Orange County before the temporary shutdown. He will return to OCSC for the 2021 season.
