The Sacramento Capitals announced that American tennis player Ryan Sweeting will be joing their team. Sweeting's first appearance on court for the Capitals will be at the Boston Lobsters home opener on July 9th, which is featuring Robby Ginepri playing singles for the Boston Lobsters.
Sweeting is ranked 134 in the world currently with a career high ranking of 64 in men's singles.
In 2005 he won the US Open boys singles title, 2007-2008 has served as a practice partner for the US Davis Cup team, has 4 Pro Circuit titles and in 2011 won the US Men's Clay Court Championship in Houston.
