Daytona Cubs open up the 2010 campaign at Jackie Robinson Ballpark TONIGHT. Opening Night presented by Wendy's will showcase a carnival atmosphere on the Riverwalk and a post-game fireworks extravaganza. There will also be a pre-game concert performed by Pepper Pot. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
"Opening Night is always one of the biggest and most energetic and electric nights of the year at the ballpark and we are looking forward to another fun one this year," said Cubs General Manager Brady Ballard.
Representatives from Wendy's will be passing out prizes throughout the game and Wendy herself will be throwing out the first pitch prior to the game. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Make sure you get your tickets in advance as the Cubs set a single-game attendance record on Opening Night last season. VIP Seats are sold out for this night. General Admission seating is still available. General Admission seats are good for the bleacher sections as well as the grandstand seating on the first base side.
