BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Announced early Thursday morning, Opening Night of the 2015 Barons baseball season at Regions Field is sold out. A capacity crowd of 8,500 is expected at first pitch as Birmingham hosts the Mobile BayBears at 7:05 p.m.

"What a way to begin the 2015 season," Barons General Manager Jonathan Nelson said. "We knew it was going to be a busy night with Opening Night landing on a Thirsty Thursday, and we hope all of those who have tickets to tonight's game have a great time. For those who did not get a ticket for tonight, we want to remind everyone that great tickets still remain for the other four games of the home stand."
