Open House Returns to BB&T Ballpark April 13

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (MARCH 22, 2013) - Opening weekend at BB&T Ballpark is three weeks away, and the Dash's annual Open House, presented by Prudential Carolinas Realty, will once again be an important part of the festivities. This year's Open House will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.
The Open House is free to the public, and fans can tour BB&T Ballpark, purchase Dash tickets, sample ballpark fare and buy merchandise in the Hanes Team Store. Children in attendance will be able to run the bases, test their broadcasting skills and play in the Kids Zone.
Fans can spend time with Bolt and the Dash Pack throughout the event. Also, members of the 2013 Dash will be on hand to sign autographs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
"Our annual Open House has become an integral part of opening weekend at BB&T Ballpark," Dash team President Geoff Lassiter said. "We are excited to team up with Prudential Carolinas Realty and host this free event for everyone in our community to enjoy."
The Open House, which drew almost 1,000 fans last year, will take place one day after the Dash's home opener, which is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, April 12, against the Carolina Mudcats. The Dash and Mudcats will meet again Saturday at 7 p.m. before wrapping up the series Sunday at 2 p.m.
Tickets for all 70 home games are on sale, and fans can call (336) 714-2287 or visit wsdash.com to purchase their seats. The Dash have also unveiled their new Stars & Stripes Mini-Plan, which includes seven great Dash games, including the Fourth of July, for just $77.
