The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher, extended its franchise best winning streak to five games and surpassed its win total from the 2013-14 season with an 11-9 victory over the Seattle Impact at ShoWare Center in Kent, Wash.
Daniel Villela scored three times as the Fury took control with six unanswered goals over the second and third quarters to take a 7-2 lead before the host Impact rallied, scoring five of the next six goals in the third period to close the score to 8-7 at the end of the quarter.
But Ontario's Israel Sesay opened the scoring in the fourth quarter, and the teams traded goals the rest of the way, as the Fury killed a late penalty to hold on for the victory.
