
Ontario Fury Road Trip Continues in Mexico this Weekend

ONTARIO, California - The Ontario Fury presented by Ford will travel south of the border this weekend for 2 games to face the Soles de Sonora and the Monterrey Flash respectively. Both games will be shown live on MASL.tv.
First up on Saturday January 11th 7pm PT the Fury take on Soles de Sonora at the Centro de Usos Multiples in Hermosillo, Mexico. This will be the second meeting between the two clubs. The teams met once earlier this season with Sonora defeating the Fury 8-7 back on December 28, 2019 at Toyota Arena in Ontario. Sonora currently hold a record of 3-5 and 5th place in the Western Conference while the Fury have a 2-4 record and tied for 6th place in the West with the Tacoma Stars.
Then on Monday January 13th the Fury visit Monterrey, Mexico to play the 8-0 and Western Conference 1st place Flash at Arena Monterrey at 7pm PT. This will be the first of two meetings between the two clubs. They will face each other again on Thursday January 16th at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.
Fury Forward Franck Tayou leads the team in goals with 16 and points with 17 while Midfielder Juan Carlos Gonzalez leads the team with 6 assists and Goalkeeper Chris Toth has seen all the action in the nets this season and 5.43 goals against average.
