Only A Win Will Do

August 4, 2009 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Toronto FC News Release

Toronto FC are in Puerto Rico for tonight's CONCACAF Champions League Preliminary Round Second Leg against the Islanders.

To progress to the Group Stage, the Reds must overturn a 1-0 deficit following last week's defeat at BMO Field. You can watch the match live on GOLTV Canada with the pre game show starting at 7:30 p.m. Kick off at Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium is 8:00 p.m.

The tie has to be decided tonight so the match could go to extra time and penalties, but that will only happen if we win 1-0. If the boys win the game and score more than one goal, they will win the tie on ‘greater number of away goals' without the need to go to extra time.
