Bellingham Slam News Release
BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Bellingham Slam announced that as of noon Tuesday, there are less than 250 tickets remaining for the team's home opener on Nov. 16 against the Hollywood Fame at 7 p.m. at Whatcom Pavilion. There are also a very limited number of courtside tickets still available for purchase.
"We are very excited to have a great team like Hollywood come to Bellingham for our home opener," commented Kip Leonetti, vice president of operations for the Slam. "It looks like Thursday's game will be sold out - and that's a great way to start our four-game homestand and our season."
The Fame is a team owned by a group of athletes and celebrities including former NBA player John Salley and singer Nick Lachey. The team is coached by former NBA head coach Don Casey.
Actor Geoff Stults will suit up to play against the Slam in their first two home games on Nov. 16 and 17. Stults is most popularly known from the television series 7th Heaven.
The Slam are coming off a season-opening 108-96 win against the King County Royals in Seattle on Sunday. The Slam had four players in double figures with Michael Parker leading the team with 36 points.
The Slam offer several different pricing options for tickets, including reserved courtside seating for $20, and general admission tickets for $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, and $5 for children 12 and under. To purchase tickets, visit the Slam's website at www.bellinghamslam.com or call their office at 734-SLAM. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the team's offices at 1200 Lakeway Drive, Suite 6.
