The Beef and the Extreme meet in another important game as the two teams race towards the playoffs. Bloomington got the best of Omaha in Week 9 as the Extreme went into Omaha and won 46-40. Omaha had a very impressive win last week vs. Rock River. The Beef were the first team to score over 50 on the Rock River defense as they put up 70 on the Raptors. Wide receiver Jason Mitchell caught all of Andy Majors' four touchdown passes and RJ Rollins ran for 90 yards and a touchdown for the powerful Beef offense. Bloomington's performance last week was not nearly as exciting, as the Extreme fell to Ohio Valley 43-37. Extreme quarterback Dusty Burk made his first appearance since Week 7. The Extreme went 3-1 without Burk, but should be improved as Burk has 22 touchdown passes on the season and leads the team with six rushing touchdowns despite being sidelined for four weeks. Burk did not play in the last meeting with Omaha.
