Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Josh Turnbull scored his team-leading 17th goal of the season, but the Omaha Lancers edged the Waterloo Black Hawks 3-2 on Friday.
Ryan Cramer opened the scoring at 2:53 of the second period, swatting a puck in on his own rebound. Turnbull's goal five minutes later came during a delayed Omaha penalty, set up by a great feed from Craig Smith behind the net. The unanswered Omaha goals in the third, including the game-winner in the final minute turned the tide in the Lancer's favor.
The Black Hawks are on the road for two games next weekend before the All-Star break. The next Black Hawks home game is Friday, February 2nd against the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets.
