Omaha Beef Sign Chuck Wright and Mike Nizzi for 2008

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Beef, professional indoor football team, has signed two former Beef players to 2008 contracts. Quarterback Chuck Wright will begin his second season while wide receiver Mike Nizzi will start his fourth season with the team.
Head Coach Steve Warren welcomes Wright and Nizzi back to the Beef.
"Chuck is a seasoned veteran that will come in and compete for the quarterback position," Warren said. "Mike is another big-bodied wide receiver that will help on crucial possessions."
In 2006, his first season with the Beef, Wright completed 79 of 162 passes for 901 yards and 22 touchdowns. The native of Tampa, Florida, played high school football at Robinson High School. Wright has also played with the Iowa Blackhawks of the American Professional Football League and for the Dakota Lawdawgs of the North American Football League.
In his previous three seasons, Nizzi has caught 87 passes for 1,010 yards and 21 touchdowns. The Omaha native played his high school football at Creighton Preparatory School. Nizzi also played collegiately at the University of Nebraska-Omaha for the Mavericks. He also spent time in 2006 in the camp of the Arena Football League's Columbus Destroyers.
Wright, Nizzi and the rest of the Omaha Beef will begin their ninth season in professional indoor football in March 2008. All home games will be played at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Beef are a member of the United Indoor Football Association, the premier indoor football league in America.
