Omaha Beef Announce 2008 Rump Roasters, Prime Dancers Next On Docket

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Beef, professional indoor football team, would like to announce that the 2008 Rump Roasters have been selected. After this weekend's Prime Dancer auditions, the Beef's two dance teams will begin to gear up for their upcoming seasons.
The Rump Roaster tryouts were held last night at Muldoon's Pub before a packed house full of Meatheads, Prime Dancers, Beef staff, other Beef fans and bar patrons. The audience had the opportunity to vote for their favorite Rump Roasters.
Thirteen men tried out for the Rump Roasters last night and all were chosen. Twelve men will return while another will be a newcomer. The returners include Batman, Beefcake, Beef Strip, CBear, DocSouth, Lauxy, Maverick, Miller Time, Moose, Peppy, Screwy Louie and T-Bone. The new Rump Roaster has been christened Meatloaf.
In addition to the Rump Roasters, the Prime Dancers will hold their auditions Saturday and Sunday at 24-Hour Fitness, 2718 N. 118th Circle. Tryouts will begin at noon both days.
The Prime Dancers are a select group of women, at least 18 years of age, who help entertain the fans during home games. Not only does the team dance at games, they are active in the Omaha area as they represent the Beef at local events and charitable causes. The team is comprised of the best Omaha has to offer from full-time students to successful business owners. These women boast a number of talents in addition to their love of dance.
The Omaha Beef will begin their ninth season in professional indoor football in March 2008. All home games will be played at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Beef are a member of the United Indoor Football Association, the premier indoor football league in America.
