Olsen up for Save of the Week

WINDSOR, Colo. - Northern Colorado Hailstorm goalkeeper Thomas Olsen has been nominated for USL League One Fans' Choice Save of the Week for Week 28. He won Save of the Week in Week 14.

Olsen came off of the bench after starting goalkeeper Johan Peñaranda was sent off for a challenge just before halftime. Olsen's nominated save came in the 78th minute. Tucson found a way through the defense, to give Charlie Machel a shot on goal. The shot came from nine yards out, with Olsen defending his left post. Olsen was able to push the ball over the crossbar to preserve the 2-1 lead and help secure three points for his side.

The voting for the Week 28 USL League One Fans' Choice Save of the Week is now open.

The future home of Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC, 118-acre Future Legends Complex will feature a 6,500-seat TicketSmarter Stadium, 2,500-seat Future Legends Field, multiple baseball diamonds, multi-purpose fields, an indoor sports arena, lodging, and retail; and will host guests for major sports tournaments, events, leagues, and more.
