OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz broke their road losing streak last week with a decisive 51-33 win over the Boise Burn. The win was the first on the road for the Dawgz since May 2007. The Yard Dawgz return to the Ford Center this Saturday, June 21, to host the Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings.

Oklahoma City has the worst turnover margin in the league (-28) but are slowly seeing improvement. The Yard Dawgz did not fumble during the win over Boise, a first for the franchise this season. The Dawgz defense continued their strong performance with 5 defensive stops and interceptions by Andre Burns and DonTa Bright.

Led by QB Gary Cooper, the BattleWings have the 2nd best offense in the league, averaging 283.4 total offensive yards/game. Cooper is among the top 10 in 9 different af2 statistical categories including passing average per game (267.6 yds/game), total offense (270.6 yds/game), and pass completion percentage (64.1%).
