
Oklahoma City Thunder Re-Assigns Liggins and Orton to NBA D-League Affiliate Tulsa 66ers

NEW YORK, March 26, 2013 - The Oklahoma City Thunder today re-assigned DeAndre Liggins and Daniel Orton to the Tulsa 66ers, the Thunder's NBA Development League affiliate. The assignments are the record 166th and 167th of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons, and Liggins and Orton are two of the record 56 NBA players to have been assigned to the NBA D-League this season.
Liggins (6-6, 209, Kentucky) has played in 37 games this season for Oklahoma City, averaging 1.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 7.3 minutes. During his previous assignments to Tulsa, he's appeared in 13 games, averaging 10.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 34.2 minutes.
Orton (6-10, 255, Kentucky) has appeared in eight games for the Thunder this season, averaging 2.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 4.9 minutes. He has played in 24 games on assignment in Tulsa, averaging 12.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 28.5 minutes.
Both players are expected to join the 66ers and be available when the team travels to take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers today at 8 p.m. ET.
