
OKC Energy FC Signs Peter Toth

OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC has announced the signing of midfielder Peter Toth, General Manager Jason Hawkins announced today. Toth comes to North America after playing with Zalaegerszegi TE of the Nemzeti Bajnokság II.
"Peter had a very successful trial with us and deserved his contract," said Energy FC Head Coach Jimmy Nielsen. "He's a skillful and creative player. We're working on building him back up, and he's a player I have high expectations about."
Toth has played professionally in NBI since 2010. In three seasons, he amassed 2,005 minutes played with eight goals in 33 appearances. Prior to playing for Zalaegerszegi TE, Toth played for REAC and Honvéd II.
"I am excited to join Energy FC," Toth said. "This is my first professional team to play for in the United States. I've only been here a month, but I can see that the people of Oklahoma City love soccer. We have a good team and hopefully make the fans happy."
