OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC has announced the re-signing of midfielder Danny Delgado, General Manager Jason Hawkins announced today. Delgado is the sixth returning player from the 2014 Energy FC roster.

"I had such a great experience last year with Energy FC, and I am very excited to come back for another season," Delgado said. "I am honored to be working with such a great and talented coaching staff and am looking forward to another year of hard work and dedication in hopes of improving and making the playoffs in a tough conference."

Delgado played in 12 matches last season, starting 10. He had four points, including two goals against Pittsburgh on July 12 and Harrisburg on July 23.

The Escondido, California native previously played for the Ventura County Fusion of the PDL. He played four seasons at the University of San Diego. He finished his collegiate career with 15 goals and 23 assists in 72 games. Delgado was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS) in the 2nd round (33rd overall) in the 2013 MLS Superdraft.
