
OKC Energy FC Falls to La Galaxy II, 1-0

OKLAHOMA CITY - LA Galaxy II handed Energy FC its third consecutive loss, downing OKC by a score of 1-0 Saturday night in front of a sellout crowd of 4,089 at Pribil Stadium.
The match's lone goal came in the 19th minute of play when Daniel Steres met an Andre Aurus corner kick in front of the Energy FC net and one-touched it past OKC keeper Samir Badr.
Despite late chances by OKC to even the score, LA keeper Brian Perk recorded his second clean sheet on the season in just his third start, with two saves on nine total shots by Energy FC.
Badr tallied two saves for OKC on 11 Galaxy II shots.
LA's Bradley Diallo was issued two yellow cards in the match, ultimately being sent off after his second in the 90th minute of play.
With the win, Galaxy II finishes the season series against Energy FC with victories in all four contests. With the loss, Energy FC's record fell to 8-11-5, while LA improved to 13-7-4.
Energy FC is back in action Friday, August 22, when they travel to Peoria, Arizona for a 9:30 p.m. CST start against Arizona United SC.
