OKC Energy FC News Release
OKLAHOMA CITY - Minnesota United FC has loaned forward Nathan Polak to OKC Energy FC for the remainder of the USL PRO season, the team announced today. Polak will wear No. 27 and be available to the club for its Thursday night contest against Arizona United SC.
"Nate was a guy we looked at early in the season," said Energy FC Head Coach Jimmy Nielsen. "When we had the opportunity to bring him here, we didn't hesitate on the chance. I think he can make a big impact for our team. He looks sharp and ready to go."
Polak has played for the NASL's Minnesota United FC since August 2012. He scored his first professional goal on September 11, 2012, in a 4-0 win against the Puerto Rico Islanders. He began his college career at Drake University before transferring to Hastings College, where he helped lead the team to an NAIA championship in 2010 and a runner-up finish in 2011.
The 25-year old is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska.
