Slip Slidin': The Dodgers have now lost six consecutive games for their longest losing streak of the season and have lost six games in a row for the first time since a seven-game skid Aug. 20-26, 2019. Following a 9-2 start after the All-Star Break, the Dodgers are 1-7 in the last eight games. Since Minor League Baseball switched to a primarily six-game series format in 2021, this is only the second time OKC has lost the first four games of a six-game set overall and the first time it's happened at home. The other 0-4 start to a series was May 6-9, 2021 in Round Rock. The Dodgers have not started a six-game series 0-5...The last time the Dodgers lost four consecutive home games was in Aug. 2019 and they have not lost four straight home games within the same series since dropping the final four games of a five-game series against Memphis June 21-24, 2019. He owns the longest active on-base streak in the Minors and the longest on-base streak by an OKC player during the MLBAM era (since 2005). He has reached base in 62 of his last 63 games and his 48-game on-base streak is the longest in the PCL since 2018. He owns one of four on-base streaks of at least 48 games recorded this season in the Minors. The last PCL player with an on-base streak longer than 39 games was Nashville's Nick Martini, who reached base in 66 straight games during the 2018 season...From the start of the season through May 31 (31 games), Avans batted .235 (20x85) with seven extra-base hits, eight RBI and 15 runs scored. The Dodgers are 1-for-their-last-24 with RISP, and prior to Omar Estévez's two-run single in the ninth inning Friday, the Dodgers had been mired in a 0-for-22 drought.
