From today through March 31, fans can submit their vote for their favorite name for each mascot through okcdodgers.com (direct link) or through social media by using #okcdodgersmascot. In addition to voting online and through social media, fans will able to cast their votes during "First Look Fan Fest" at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on March 28.
The new names of each mascot will be revealed on April 2.
"We want to thank everyone who sent us their ideas for the new names," said OKC Dodgers President/General Manager Michael Byrnes. "It was tough to narrow them down to three each, but we felt it was important to select names that were not only popular submissions, but ones that honor the Dodgers' legacy or are part of the state of Oklahoma's identity."
The Oklahoma City Dodgers start their 2015 season Thursday, April 9 against the Round Rock Express. For more information about the 2015 season or to purchase tickets, please call (405) 218-1000 or visit okcdodgers.com.
