Tulsa Oilers News Release
Buffet Night: After a Wednesday night visit to the Colorado Eagles, the Tulsa Oilers will return home Saturday to face the Wichita Thunder. Wednesday's game starts at 8:05 central time and can be heard on KMMY FM 97.1
Saturday night the Tulsa Parrothead club is teaming with the Oilers to present "Jimmy Buffet-Parrothead Night". Activities will include a Parrothead costume contest, and the first 1,000 fans will receive Parrothead leis. In addition the Parrothead club is raising money for the Tulsa Cerebral Palsy Association by selling group tickets and also will be having a jersey raffle at the game. Saturday's game starts at 7:35.
One of Each: The Oilers covered all the columns in the standings last week. They lost to Fort Worth, 4-2, had an overtime loss to Memphis, 3-2, and then rebounded to beat Memphis the next night 3-1.
A Real Winner:Defenseman Mario Joly had the game winning goal against Memphis. He now leads the Oilers in that category with four game winning goals.
Line Up: The trio of Jim Dahl, Jaroslav Cesky and Henry Kuster continues to be red hot. Cesky leads the club with 15 goals and Dahl and Kuster each have 14. They have accounted for 43 of the Oilers 82 goals this season.
