
Oilers Training Camp Set to Begin Monday

TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers will take to the ice as a team for the first time this season when training camp gets underway on Monday, October 10th. Due to renovations at the Oilers Ice Center in Tulsa, camp will be held at the Blazers Ice Centre in Oklahoma City. 30 players will compete for 18 spots on the Oilers final roster.
"I'm looking forward to another great camp," said Oilers head coach Bruce Ramsay. "I know all the guys are eager to finally get back on the ice and I think traveling down to Oklahoma City will help us grow closer as a hockey team. We've assembled some tremendous talent and I think there's going to be a very high level of competition at the rink during the next few weeks."
The Blazers Ice Centre is located at 8000 S. I-35 Service Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73149-2902.
The training camp schedule is as follows:
October 10th-12th - Practice in Oklahoma City at 10:45AM
October 13th - Practice in Wichita at 1:00PM
October 14th - Exhibition game at Wichita Thunder at 7:00PM
October 15th - Exhibition game at Wichita Thunder at 7:00PM
October 18th-20th - Practice in Oklahoma City at 10:45AM
October 21st - Regular season opener at Allen Americans
The Tulsa Oilers play their home opener at 7:35pm on October 28th against the Wichita Thunder at the BOK Center.
