Tulsa Oilers News Release
Goaltender Mike Brusseau is heading to Tulsa and bringing with him to the Oilers, more than 200 games played in professional hockey.
The 28-year old native of Detroit began this season with the Jacksonville Barracudas of the Southern Professional Hockey League, and also has previous stints in the Central Hockey League, United Hockey League, West Coast Hockey League, and ECHL.
"Mike's a veteran who's proven himself in the past and we expect him to help us as we approach the playoff run," Oilers coach Butch Kaebel said.
To make room for Brusseau, the Oilers waived goaltender Grady Hunt. "Grady is just a super person who has a great future ahead of him. He was a great help to us and is a total team player."
The Oilers play Saturday night at Fort Worth. They have a return engagement with Fort Worth in Tulsa on Tuesday January 18 at 7:05 p.m.
