Tulsa Oilers News Release

TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers have teamed up with Safelite Auto Glass to do their part in helping to stamp out hunger in northeast Oklahoma. This Saturday, February 1, the Oilers are asking all of their fans to bring a canned, or non-perishable item to the BOK Center prior to the game against the Denver Cutthroats at 7:35 p.m.

The donations will be collected for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma which provides more than 275,000 meals to hungry Oklahomans each week.

Every fan who brings a food donation will be automatically entered into a raffle for an autographed Oilers jersey presented by Safelite Auto Glass. Raffle tickets can also be purchased for $2 each or three tickets for $5. All of the proceeds from the jersey raffle will benefit the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

In 2013, the Community Food Bank, the largest private hunger-relief organization in eastern Oklahoma, distributed 17.1 million pounds of food throughout the 24 counties of eastern Oklahoma.

Serving its customers for more than 65 years, Safelite Auto Glass is the largest vehicle glass company in the country. Safelite provides quality service to four million customers per year and offers the nation's only lifetime guarantee.

The Oilers are fortunate to be able to work closely with supportive corporate and community partners like Safelite Auto Glass and the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

Tulsa and Denver face off for the fifth meeting of the season and the first clash at the BOK Center. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call 918-632-7825 or log on to www.tulsaoilers.com.
