
Oilers Claim Vrtik Off Waivers

The Tulsa Oilers have added defenseman Jan Vrtik to their roster, claiming him off of waivers from the Wichita Thunder on Thursday.
Vrtik, 26, played for Corpus Christi and Wichita this season, registering 11 points (all assists) and 24 penalty minutes. The native of Zvolen, Slovakia, has played in 46 games this season, his first in North America.
The Tulsa Oilers return to home ice this weekend, hosting the Indianapolis Ice on Friday and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Saturday.
Individual game tickets can be purchased at the Oilers ticket office, at Carson Attractions, in the Tulsa Convention Center, plus the Drug Mart locations in Tulsa, Owasso, and Broken Arrow.
