Oilers at Sara Lee Grand Opening

Derek Eastman, who was the Tulsa Oilers bread and butter defenseman last season en route to an all-CHL Team selection, will be helping fans pick up bread on Friday at the new Sara Lee Outlet Bakery Store at Mingo (61st and Mingo).

Eastman will be on hand along with team broadcaster Steve McCall and Ice Girl Kiley from 10 a.m. to noon to greet shoppers and help Sara Lee celebrate the grand opening of its new store. Fans can come by for autographed Oiler posters while picking up great bargains on Sara Lee bakery products.

"We're happy to team up with the Oilers for this grand opening," Jacqueline Gallegos, retail sales manager for Sara Lee said. "It will help make for a great start for our newest store in Tulsa."

The Oilers had the second highest point total increase in the CHL this season under head coach Bruce Ramsay, who was in his first season with the Oilers. They will have 33 home games at the BOK Center in the 2010-11 season, starting on Friday October 15th against the Wichita Thunder
