Tulsa Oilers News Release
Right winger Mike Wiggins and defenseman Matt Medley of the Tulsa Oilers have been selected for the Northern Conference team for the Central Hockey League All-star game to be played Wednesday January 17th at Boosier-Shreveport. Wiggins has 19 goals and is tied for the league lead in that category with teammate David Masse. Medley has five goals and 18 assists for 23, making him eighth in scoring among CHL blueliners. "We know Mike and Matt will be great representatives for the Oilers at the all-star game," coach Butch Kaebel said. "We know everyone can't make it but we certainly have some other guys like David Masse, David Beauregard and Bryan LaChapelle who are having all-star type seasons. I know any other team in the league would jump at the chance to have them, so we're glad they're here in Tulsa." The Oilers have also announced their make-up date from the postponed game with the Wichita Thunder on December 22nd, will be played Tuesday February 6th at 7:05 p.m. All tickets from the December 22nd game will be honored for that date. Tickets are available at the Carson Attraction box office located in the Tulsa Convention Center, all Drug Mart locations and by calling (918) 584-2000.
