In just two seasons, he compiled one of the best totals of any player on the Aberdeen Wings all-time roster.
Mack Ohnsted, 1991 forward from Vernon Hills, Illinois joined the Wings for their inaugural season in 2010-2011. That year he scored three goals with 16 assists. The most impressive season would be the 2011-2012 season. He notched 40 points after scoring 6 goals and 34 assists during the regular season. In 2012, the first trip to the playoffs for the Wings, he scored a goal and assist in 4 games. Ohnsted was also featured at the 2012 NAHL Top Prospects tournament where he added two assists.
Now with Augsburg College in the Twin Cities, Ohnsted continuing the scoring as the team's leader with 25 points in 25 games. This season he has 6 goals and 19 assists. Earlier this season, he scored two goals in one game against Concordia-Moorhead.
