BRAMPTON, Ont. – Left wingers Adam Henrich and Wojtek Wolski and coach Stan Butler have been selected to represent the Ontario Hockey League in next month's Canada/Russia Challenge games the OHL announced Thursday.

Henrich and Wolski were named to the 22-man roster while Butler was named as an assistant coach, along with Peter DeBoer of the Kitchener Rangers, under head coach Jim Hulton of the Kingston Frontenacs. The games, which will be broadcast nationally by Rogers Sportsnet, are scheduled for Nov. 17 at London and Nov. 19 at Sarnia.

The Brampton trio heads into the games with previous international experience.

The 19-year-old Henrich currently leads the Battalion in scoring with eight goals and nine assists for 17 points. The club's leading scorer for the past two seasons, Henrich, a second-round pick of the National Hockey League's Tampa Bay Lightning in 2002, was a member of the Canadian squad at the World Under-18 Championships in April, 2002.

"It's a great honour and hopefully I can go out there and show my stuff," said Henrich. "I'm off to a good start and hopefully I can continue that because I want to be playing my best going into those two games."

Wolski, 17, is currently second in team scoring with six goals and nine assists for 15 points. He was a member of Team Ontario at the Canada Winter Games in February and he was an assistant captain of the Canadian entry that finished fourth at the World Under-18 Cup in August in the Czech Republic.

"I'm really excited about this," said Wolski, who is the only 1986-birth on the roster. "I think I showed them something at the Under-18 tournament and I think I can fit into the team. It's great just to be invited to this and hopefully if I well I can go on from there. I think this will help me focus on getting into a groove and playing a consistent game every night."

Butler is no stranger to international competition. He was an assistant coach of Canada's Under-18 team that won a gold medal at the 1998 Three Nations Tournament in the Czech Republic and served as head coach of Canada's Under-18 team that won the gold medal at the 1999 Four Nations tournament in the Czech Republic.

Butler was an assistant to Tom Renney with Canada's silver medal-winning team at the 1999 World Junior Championship in Winnipeg and was named head coach of Canada's entry in the 2001 tournament that defeated Sweden in the bronze-medal game.

In June 2001 Butler became only the third person in Canadian Hockey Association history to coach the national junior team in consecutive years since the CHA's Program of Excellence began in 1982. Butler's squad earned a silver medal in the Czech Republic after losing 5-4 to Russia in the championship game.
