
OHL Priority Selection on Saturday

Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack will look to get a good jump on their off-season plans this Saturday when the Ontario Hockey League holds the 2015 Priority Selection, presented by State Farm.
The Attack hold two picks in the 1st Round of the Priority Selection due to the compensation pick received for 2014 1st Round Pick Victor Mete choosing not to report to Owen Sound. The Attack will choose in the 9th (compensation pick) and 14th in the opening round on Saturday and hold 18 picks in the draft, which begins Saturday at 9:00am with the first three rounds shown live as part of a Draft Show webcast hosted at ontariohockeyleague.com.
Following the 1st Round, the Attack also have picks in the: 3rd (LON), 3rd (OTT), 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th (NIA), 7th, 8th, 8th (WSR), 9th, 9th (BAR), 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th
The Attack and Attack Pak will also be holding their annul Draft Day gathering in the Shore Room of the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Morning refreshments/snacks will be available from Tim Horton's, as well as a light lunch at 11:30 courtesy of East Side Mario's in Owen Sound. Attack General Manager Dale DeGray will address fans/media in the Shore Room following Rounds 1, 3, 9 and 14.
With two 1st Round Picks, the Attack will continue to build through the draft, looking to replace several long time key pieces in their roster. Of the 26 players on the Attack's playoff roster, 16 were drafted by the Attack in the OHL Priority Selection, while 3 players were added via free agency, 2 via the CHL Import Draft and 5 players through trade (full list below).
