
OHL Announces Disciplinary Action

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced the result of its review of an incident which occurred in the game played in Kingston, Ontario on Friday, February 6th, 2009 between the Kingston Frontenacs and the visiting Oshawa Generals involving player James DeLory of the Oshawa Generals Hockey Club.
The incident in question saw player James DeLory receive a match penalty for slashing and a subsequent fighting major on the same play.
In making the announcement as the result of the review, Commissioner David Branch stated "the actions of player DeLory were most concerning, both the inappropriate use of the stick and the subsequent physical interaction with his opponent. As a result of these actions, player James DeLory shall be suspended for twelve (12) games."
