Game facts: The Extreme is going for a franchise-record fourth straight victory and to avenge a 41-33 loss to the Greyhounds on April 7 at Wheeling, W. Va., in this East Conference match-up. The Greyhounds only other victory came last week in a 55-37 triumph against RiverCity.

The Extreme, which had a bye last week, has a 1-2 record at U.S. Cellular Coliseum this season and a 3-8 mark at home in franchise history. Ohio Valley is winless in three road games this season.

The teams have played three common opponents in Rock River, Lexington and RiverCity. The Extreme has a 2-2 record against the common opponents, while Ohio Valley is 1-3. The series: This is the second meeting between the teams this year. Ohio Valley posted a 41-33 during the second week of the season as the Greyhounds exploded for 21 points in the fourth quarter to overcome a 33-20 deficit. Keith Brooks rushed for 86 yards, while quarterback Freddy Ray completed 12 of 22 passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns. The Extreme is winless in three games against Ohio Valley overall.

Coaches: Ted Schmitz is in his second season as the head coach of the Extreme. He has a 8-13 career record. Ohio Valley's head coach is Ervin Bryson, who is in his first year with the Greyhounds.

Extreme's last outing: Wide receiver James Walton caught seven passes for 103 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Extreme to a 49-23 victory at RiverCity. Quarterback Dusty Burk completed 15 of 21 passes for 174 yards and four touchdowns. Running back Rocky Harvey gained a franchise record 80 yards on 17 carries.

Extreme highs: Seven Extreme players have posted franchise records this season: Rocky Harvey (17 rushing attempts; 80 yards); Dusty Burk (259 yards passing, six TD passes); Glenn Johnson (138 yards receiving, three TD receptions); James Walton (3 TD receptions); Peter Christofilakos (51-yd. FG); Dion Brown (30-yd. missed field goal return); Eric Johnson (2.5 sacks).

Extreme moves: The Extreme re-signed kicker Peter Christofilakos after he was released earlier this week by the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League. Christofilakos saw action in two games for the Rattlers, converting 12 of 14 conversion kicks and booting a 35-yard FG...Offensive lineman Nick Ruud has been lost for the season because of a torn ACL in his left knee. Ruud started 14 of 15 games last season and all six games this season...Defensive lineman Quince Holman, who signed a contract with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats earlier this year, begins camp with the Tiger-Cats on May 25...Wide receiver Ramon Barber has been released, so he can pursue an academic internship in Florida.

Extreme on offense: Quarterback Dusty Burk and wide receiver Glenn Johnson has pumped life into the Extreme office since their return three weeks ago. Burk has completed 48 of 71 passes (67.6 percent) for 566 yards and 13 TDs...Johnson has 19 receptions for 265 yards and a team-high six TDs...The Extreme is averaging 25 more points per game and nearly 60 yards in total offense...The addition of offensive lineman Chad Walker made a noticeable difference in the Extreme's last game at RiverCity as running back Rocky Harvey ran for a franchise record 80 yards on 17 carries...The Extreme ranks fourth in the UIF in passing offense with a 158.5 per game average and fifth in total offense at 222 yards per game. After the first week of the season, the Extreme was near the bottom in both categories.

Extreme on defense: Defensive back Terrill Mayberry leads the league in passes defended with 14 points for a 2.33 per game average. Mayberry has broken up 13 passes and intercepted one...Defensive back Lamar Baker ranks third in total tackles with an average of 7.4 per game (25 solos, 24 assists, 37 points), while linebacker Dorian Pitts is fifth (14 solos, 32 assists, 30 points) and Mayberry is ninth (20 solos, 25 assists, 32.5 points).

Extreme attendance: The Extreme leads the league in average attendance at 5,293 after three home dates. All three of the Extreme home dates have had crowds in excess of 5,000 fans. Only four times this season UIF teams have drawn more than 5,000 people...The Extreme's season-opening crowd of 5,454 is tops this year in the UIF with its second game crowd of 5,353 ranking second and its last home game crowd of 5,071 ranking fourth...Sioux City drew the third largest crowd at 5,176. About Ohio Valley: The Greyhounds are led offensively by running back Keith Brooks, who averages 38.1 yards per carry, to rank sixth in the league. Quarterback Freddy Ray has completed 83 of 174 passes for 1,060 yards and 15 touchdowns. Ray also has rushed for 119 yards for an average of 168.4 yards per game in total offense to rank fifth in the UIF.

The Greyhounds have four receivers with 18 or more catches. The leader is Darrell Dowery with 21 receptions for 273 yards and four touchdowns. Willie Austin and Jerrand Nesmith each have 19 receptions for 234 and 199 yards, respectively. Austin leads the team with six touchdown grabs. Brooks has caught 18 passes for 183 yards out of the backfield.

Linebacker Devin Conwell is the team leader on defense with 38 total points (31 solo tackles, 14 assists) to rank fourth in the league. Jeffery Candler was a hit in his season debut with the Greyhounds last week with six solo tackles and five assists for 8.5 points. He had 2.5 tackles for loss for 32 yards and recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown to earn the UIF Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Likewise, teammate Durell Preston earned the UIF Special Teams Player of the Week award for returning six kick-offs for 111 yards for an 18.5 average. His longest return was 27 yards.

UIF Players of the Week: Patrick Hall of Rock River was the top offensive player, carrying the ball 19 times for 73 yards and three touchdowns. His longest run was 28 yards and he also caught six passes for 25 yards and one touchdown. See above for defensive and special teams players of the week.
