
Offensive Tackle Hagood Signs Tiger-Cat Contract

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that import offensive tackle Jay Hagood has signed a Canadian Football League contract following three seasons as a starter in National Football League Europe.
Hagood, 28, started 29 games with the Frankfurt Galaxy and Berlin Thunder. He started 10 games with Berlin in 2001, started nine games with Frankfurt in 2000 and started 10 games with World Bowl champion Frankfurt in 1999, all at left tackle.
The 6-foot-4, 306-pound Hagood played two games with the New York Jets of the NFL as a backup left tackle in 1997.
